The process consists of bed shaping or trenching the bed lines, applying a balanced fertilizer for plants, a pre-emergent weed control for the beds, and then laying new pine straw. While it doesn’t sound like much the results will certainly be worth more than the minimal cost. Now is also the optimal time to prune any plant material that requires yearly pruning.
